FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

about visiting Chatswood Presbyterian Church

PARKING

Street parking can be a little tricky in Chatswood, so it's best to allow some extra time for this. The nearby "flower" streets (Tulip, Iris, Daisy) have untimed parking, if you can find a spot. Alternatively, parking at nearby Chatswood Chase is free for three hours.

ACCESSIBILITY

There are no stairs into our church building, hall or meeting rooms, and we also have a modern, wheelchair-accessible toilet. Our church building has plenty of space for wheelchairs and walkers, and someone from our Welcome Team can help you find a spot. We also have a hearing-aid loop installed in the church building.

GIVING

Coming to church is always free and you are under no obligation to give! However, the ministries of our church flourish through the generous, voluntary support of those who attend. If you'd like to contribute electronically, you'll find our church's account details by clicking here. Though we have no designated collection time during the service, you're welcome to put cash gifts into one of the secure postboxes located beside the two exit doors as you leave.

YOUNG CHILDREN

Children six months and over can be cared for during our morning services in our crèche or children's program. Alternatively, we have a comfortable "family room" where parents and carers can look after babies and toddlers during the services. This room has an audio-visual feed of the service, so you won't miss a thing. Change tables are located in our toilets.

ARRIVAL

When you arrive at church, you'll be greeted by someone from our friendly Welcome Team. They'll offer you a name label and, if it's your first time with us, request your contact details (so we can send you some helpful information about the church ... no spam - we promise!). They'll also offer you an NIV Bible which, if you haven't brought your own, will be very helpful for the Bible reading and talk during the service. If English is not your first language, you can also request a printout of the Bible talk, so you can follow along.

SERVICES

We try extra hard to start our services right at the advertised time. They go for up to 75 min and include singing, prayers, announcements, a Bible reading, Bible talk, along with regular kids' talks and 'spotlights'.
