2025 Compassion Christmas Appeal

This Christmas, we're supporting Compassion's Mums and Babies project – a life-saving initiative which equips new and expectant mothers with critical care and guidance from pregnancy through their child’s first year. Your gift will help fund vital maternal and infant health care in a developing country, reducing child mortality and ensuring mothers receive the support they need to give their babies the best possible start in life.

It costs $15,000 to fully fund a Mums and Babies project for one year – so every contribution makes a difference.

Thank you for your generosity!

Saturday, 6 December

(arrive 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start, finishing around 8pm).

We’ll be watching Sight & Sound Theatre’s spectacular filmed stage production of David – the shepherd, warrior, poet, and king whose greatest battle was the one within.

There’ll be a 30-minute intermission (6:30-7:00pm) with finger foods provided (meat pies, sausage rolls, mini quiches, etc).

The event is free and suitable for adults and children aged 10 and up.*  Please register by 4 December for catering purposes.

*The David and Bathsheba episode is handled sensitively and is suitable for children to watch.  There are some battle scenes, though not overly graphic, so it may be best if kids are age 10 and up.  Parents may use their own discretion, however.

Starts 1 March 2026 (1:30-3pm)

In this three week course we'll explore the who, what and why of Chatswood Presbyterian Church (CPC).

It's a course especially designed to help newcomers integrate quickly and fully into the life of our church.

Registration will open soon.
