In large parts of NSW drought is becoming an increasingly desperate problem. Our farmers and others living in regional communities are doing it tough, and the outlook is bleak.
Jericho Road (the social services arm of the Presbyterian Church in NSW) is seeking to help those who are struggling through its Drought Appeal.
This appeal is different to most others in that funds are distributed via local congregations who know the real needs of people in their area and who can deliver the assistance in person. This in turn allows for the assistance to be provided thoughtfully and as an act of God’s people in that town, showing the love of Jesus.
